Flower girl: Newly-engaged Miley Cyrus is lovely in printed jumpsuit

She's in Louisiana spending time with her fiancé Liam Hemsworth.
And it seems Miley Cyrus has (at least temporarily) traded in her torn daisy dukes and tattered T-shirts for a more sophisticated look.
The newly-engaged singer/actress, 19, played the part of a southern belle today as she stepped out in New Orleans wearing a lovely floral jumpsuit.

The star paired her sleeveless full-length jumper with a black belt, delicate gold necklaces - and of course, her new 3.5-carat bauble.

She wore her hair loosely up, with natural make-up complimenting her casual daytime look.

 

Hunger Games star Hemsworth, 22, is currently in Louisiana shooting for his new action-heist movie Empire State.

The couple was pictured out yesterday, and the actor looked thrilled to be with his wife-to-be, keeping his hand linked with hers as they went for a stroll.

Wearing another floral look, a short flowing dress paired with rugged combat boots, Miley kept her eyes locked on Liam before he had to return to the set.

Their reunion came after Miley's bold arrival at LAX on her way to the Southern state, dressed in a thin white top that revealed a red bra underneath, and skintight denim.

Hemsworth proposed to the former Disney star on May 31 with the  3.5-carat diamond ring from jeweller Neil Lane.

The band is handcrafted in 18-karat gold, speckled with intricate diamond floral motifs. The centre stone was hand cut 'around 1880 or 1890,' according to Lane, who spoke to People.com.
He added that Hemsworth was happy with the final result, revealing the jewel was only completed last week in time for the proposal.

Miley made her engagement announcement to People magazine, saying: 'I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam.'

She once named the Australian as her 'first serious boyfriend' after teenage romances with Nick Jonas and model Justin Gaston.

The couple met while working together on The Last Song in 2009 and Liam has previously  admitted while he wanted to be professional on the film, they couldn't help but fall in love after working so closely together.

It hasn't been the smoothest of relationships; The couple announced that they had split in August 2010 but were back together within a month. They broke up again in November last year before reconciling again.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Miley shared her joy over her impending nuptials, tweeting: 'I feel like all my dreams are coming true.'
