'The secret to my incredible abs': Jenny McCarthy, 40, shares her tips as she reveals her bikini body

There's a reason she's appeared on the cover of Playboy six times.

Easily defying her 40 years, the single mother looked abs-olutely fantastic in the halter two-piece, which she wore under a sheer green tank top.

The blonde bombshell, who's cousin is Oscar nominee Melissa McCarthy, maintains her amazingly toned figure with strength training and running three to five times per week and yoga twice a week.

Jenny's fitness philosophy is 'You JUST GOTTA DO IT' and, even if she only has 10 minutes to workout, she'll do a bunch of sit-ups and push-ups.

'Lunges, sit ups and pushups -- because I'm kind of working my whole body,' McCarthy said in the behind-the-scenes video. 'Planking is still an awesome exercise for the core and your arms.'

The special double issue will also feature Jenny's In Top Form workout, a routine she uses with her trainer Mark Harari to sculpt her butt, legs, and core.
However, the gorgeous funnywoman won't consider doing any of this activity without her music.

'Besides the actual working out, food is the most important thing. Especially in today's age how convenient fast food restaurants are, and how exhausted we are as mothers. It's too overwhelming that we sacrifice [healthy] food.'

'I make a ton of nutritious ones, like butternut squash and vegetable. When I want to drop five pounds quickly I eat them for every meal for about 10 days,' said Jenny.

The Autism activist does have a favourite indulgence - watermelon: 'It helps you if you retain water. It's really filling and yummy.'

It's hard to believe the former Playmate of the Year once ballooned to 211lbs during her pregnancy with 10-year-old son Evan back in 2002.

Last year, the Singled Out star posted an almost unrecognizable photograph on Twitter displaying her enormous bump.

'For anyone who doubted my 211lbs at pregnancy here is a photo i found! Meaty meaty ass! Whoa!' she wrote alongside the family snap.

The currently single star, who's celebrity crush is Bradley Cooper, broke up with Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher last August.

She's also been linked with manager Ray Manzella, actor Ivan Sergei, actor Jim Carrey, fitness model Jason Toohey, entertainment-sports lawyer Paul Krepelka, and her ex-husband John Mallory Asher.

The busy blonde's new late-night talk show, The Jenny McCarthy Show, will air on VH1 beginning Februray 8.

Jenny also recently published her seventh memoir, Bad Habits: Confessions of a Recovering Catholic.
