Direction will battle it out in the Favourite Song category at the
upcoming 2013 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards
Harry, 19, told People magazine: 'We are delighted with our nominations for the Kids' Choice Awards. It was amazing to perform 'What Makes You Beautiful' at last year's show. Thank you as always to our incredible fans and supporters!'
This means that the two exes will undoubtedly come face-to-face at the event, which is held in Los Angeles next month.
Other nominees in the Favourite Song category include Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe, and the viral sensation, Gangnam Style by Korean star PSY.
Two nominations: One Direction are also up for Favourite Musical Group
Elsewhere, Wizards of Waverly Place actress Selena Gomez is nominated for Favourite TV Actress and America's Got Talent, American Idol, The Voice and Wipeout will vie for Favourite Reality Show.
The full nominations for this year's Kids' Choice Awards will be announced later on Wednesday with voting due to begin on Thursday.
Stage show: Taylor recently performed at the Grammys last weekend
So over: Taylor and Harry ended their romance over the New Year in the British Virgin Islands following a reported row
Meanwhile, Taylor recently sent out a strong message to ex-boyfriend Styles at the Grammys.
In an apparent dig at her former British love, the singer adopted an English accent as she pretended to speak on her phone mid-performance during a rendition of We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
Fellow nominees: Carly Rae Jepsen is also up for Favourite Song, while Selena Gomez will battle it out for Favourite Actress
The interlude punctuated an incredible performance by the 23-year-old singer, who parted from 19-year-old Styles earlier this year after a holiday to the British Virgin Islands went sour.
A source told Us Weekly around the time of Taylor and Harry's split: 'They had a fight,' adding that Styles 'said something he shouldn't have … This [breakup] is definitely going to be for good.'
Taylor recently revealed she is planning to have a great time on Valentine's Day despite her split.
'I'm probably going to be with my friends or rehearsing…I'll be like working on the lighting rig and like, the lighting cues,' she told Ryan Seacrest in a radio interview last Thursday, adding: 'And I don't think I'd rather be anywhere else to be honest.'
Still viral: Korean star PSY and his hit song Gangnam Style is also nominated
