The Les Miserables actress has been heavily criticised over the awards season for her acceptance speech style

James Franco revealed that he and Anne Hathaway had made up after hosting the Oscars in 2011 but he has admitted that they 'haven't talked in a while'.
The Spring Breakers actor also spoke about why so many people hate the Les Miserables star while talking with Howard Stern on his Sirius XM radio show on Monday.
Howard asked Franco about his relationship with Anne but the actor explained from the start that she would not be happy that he was talking about the topic.

"They're called Hathahaters," James Franco on his ex-girlfriend

Franco said: 'I'm happy to revisit this, but you're going to have to take the lead. If you're going to talk about it, you're going to have to give your opinions . . . She does not want me talking about this, but okay.'
Stern went to on list the reasons why he dislikes Anne and said: 'Everyone sort of hates Anne Hathaway, and I've explained that I do too and I don't know even know why sometimes.'
'She's just so affected actress-y that even when she wins an award she's out of breath, and then she has the standard joke that sounds like it's written. And it all seems so scripted and acted.'

He continued: 'She comes off like the goody two-shoes actress and it's just fun to sort of hate her. Hate is a strong word . . . but dislike her, even though she is a great actress. Is that accurate?
James replied: 'I'm not an expert on -- I guess they're called 'Hatha-haters'-- but I think that's what maybe triggers it.'
Howard then went on to ask James if he was still 'friendly' with the Oscar-winning star.
He replied: 'We haven't talked in a while.'

James was eager to assert that he and Anne had cleared the air and he said: 'Anne and I made up, by the way. Let's just get that on the record'
The actor and the One Day star failed to impress with their hosting skills at the 2011 Oscars and were panned by many critics.
Anne has faced plenty of criticism throughout awards season this year too, after leaving viewers irritated with her acceptance speech style.
The actress admitted that the attention did get her down and said: 'It does get to me. But you have to remember in life that there's a positive to every negative and a negative to every positive.'
