On Tuesday, she took a tumble during rehearsals and nearly took her trainer out; but having escaped that close brush, Wednesday saw the 44-year-old really injure herself.

The ripped athlete could be seen sporting substantial bandages on her left leg at the rehearsal lot for the tough show.

Chuy was devastated to have to leave the show, and Katherine Webb has been spotted in tears as he tried to perfect her technique.

Chuy said, rather hopefully: ''It is very unfortunate but I will not be able to continue in this competition, don't worry world I will be back for season two.'
