New viral infection thriller gets a suitably ominous poster...
We brought you the trailer last week, and now we get a look at the teaser poster for Steven Soderbergh’s germ thriller, Contagion.
We weren’t too impressed by the trailer here at Movie Reviews, but the poster looks a little more promising. Free from the silliness of the trailer’s dialogue it had more of a chance, even if the new tagline, ‘the world goes viral’ hits the same bum notes.
The cast list is arranged front and centre, a wise move when considering the calibre of actors Soderbergh has assembled. Like with the Ocean’s movies, the film will live or die on the quality of performances and chemistry between actors, so its good he’s got a talented bunch lined up.
With talent like Matt Damon, Kate Winslet and Marion Cotillard, how can it fail? Well, we’ll see. See the poster below and watch the trailer here.
