All work and no play for Oscar nominee Matt Damon as he films Clint Eastwood thriller in London

It was only yesterday that Matt Damon found out he had been Oscar nominated for his performance as South African rugby captain Francois Pienaar in Invictus.
But there was no time for celebration for the actor as he was up bright and early this morning to resume filming his latest movie Hereafter.
The thriller sees Damon, 39, reunite with Invictus director Clint Eastwood, 79, for the second time.

Back to work: Oscar nominee Matt Damon was back on location filming his new movie Hereafter outside the Charles Dickens museum in Bloomsbury, London today
Looking tanned with his brown hair darker than usual, Damon and his co-stars were seen outside the Charles Dickens Museum in Bloomsbury as they filmed scenes for the upcoming thriller.
Wearing a grey fleece and basketball cap, Eastwood looked deep in concentration as he set up the scene.
The stars were back at work today just three days after they joined Invictus co-star Morgan Freeman on the red carpet of the London premiere of the film.
Yesterday, both Damon and Freeman learned they had secured Best Supporting Actor and Best Actor In A Leading Role nominations at next month's Academy Awards, but Eastwood lost out on a Best Director nod.

Working hard: Damon and Clint Eastwood (right) talk to crewmembers in between takes

Hereafter tells the story of a factory worker called George - played by Damon - who is a reluctant psychic able to communicate with the dead.
While little is known about the plotline of the film, Eastwood said: 'It’s three different stories with people who have gone through some sort of stressful time and it’s about how they sort of converge together.

'Much like a lot of French movies have been in the past, where the stories kind of converge together, and destiny drives each person towards the other.'

Tourists: Damon looks like a regular American tourist as he checks out the Charles Dickens museum with a group of extras
Damon's scenes today outside Dickens' former home is likely to prompt speculation his character may communicate with the author from beyond the grave.
The film also stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Jay Mohr and is scheduled for release in December.
Eastwood and Damon started filming Hereafter last October and so far have travelled to locations in Paris and Chamonix, France; Hawaii; and San Francisco.
As well as Bloomsbury, Eastwood has also set some of the action in the Bermondsey and Walworth areas of south east London and Petticoat Lane Market.
