Bradley Cooper could replace George Clooney in Man From U.N.C.L.E

Steven Soderbergh's The Man From U.N.C.L.E is looking for a new lead, and it looks like rising star Bradley Cooper will take it...
Since the news broke of George Clooney’s departure from Steven Soderbergh’s The Man From U.N.C.L.E, people have been trying desperately to assign the role to another Hollywood A-lister.

Now it looks as if it’s going to be Bradley Cooper, as he’s been offered the lead role of American agent Napoleon Solo. It’s been reported that Matt Damon and Johnny Depp passed on the part, so Cooper was in no way the first choice.
The film is a big-screen adaptation of the ‘60s television show, which followed the lives of Solo and Russian spy Illya Kuryakin. Together they battle an evil organisation called T.H.R.U.S.H. No, really.
Names are also being thrown around for the role of Kuryakin, with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ryan Gosling and Alexander Skarsgard current favourites to take it.
